Isn't it time to return to God?

I Have Returned

I have returned to the God of my childhood,

To the same simple faith as a child I once knew;

Like the prodigal son I have longed for my loved ones,

For the comforts of home and the God I outgrew.

I have returned to the God of my childhood,

Bethlehem%26#039;s Babe, the prophet%26#039;s Messiah;

He%26#039;s Jesus to me, Eternal Deity;

Praise His name, I have returned.

I have returned to the God of my mother,

With unfailing faith for the child of her heart;

She said bring them up the way that you want them,

Thank God when they%26#039;re grown, they%26#039;ll never depart.

I have returned to the God of my mother,

I learned at her knee He%26#039;s the lily of the valley;

He%26#039;s Jesus to me, Eternal Deity;

Praise His name, I have returned.

I have returned to the God of my father,

The most God-like man a child could know;

I just heard a shout from the angels in glory,

Praising the Lord a child has come home.

I have returned to the God of my father,

Creator of heaven and earth, God of the universe;

He%26#039;s Jesus to me, Eternal Deity;

Praise His name, I have returned.

I have returned to the Yahweh of Judah,

On my knees I did fall where the wall now stands;

This lesson I learned as I%26#039;ve worked my way homeward,

The Saviour of all is a comfort to man.

I have returned to the Father of Abraham,

The shepherd of Moses who called Him the great I am;

He%26#039;s Jesus to me, Eternal Deity;

Praise His name, I have returned.

Isn%26#039;t it time to return to God?
God`s Love exists in every cell of mankind , Our busy and dirty life does not let us to feel the holy portions of our existence, just when the clouds disappear and he him self has a look at us , we can deeply feel him!

Like a smooth breath!

%26quot;we are from him and we will return to him %26quot;
Reply:No, I%26#039;ve got 7:30.
Reply:I tried returning to him, but he ditched his old place and left no forwarding address!
Reply:Nice poem, that is all it is. Since god doesn%26#039;t exist, it%26#039;s moot.
Reply:I have nothing to return until he gives me back my hot pink pumps that I got to wear with my hot pink micro-mini for Death%26#039;s Beautiful Angel%26#039;s wedding today!

He best not have stretched them out either! Or there will be hell to pay!
Reply:yes it is .
Reply:the time is not now.
Reply:I like the poem, that%26#039;s nice.
Reply:I hate to break it to you, but God doesn%26#039;t exist =(
Reply:Not Really
Reply:The poem is really nice.

I think we%26#039;re all going to return to our God when the time comes.

%26quot;We belong to God and to Him will we return..%26quot;
Reply:ya I am still waiting for God to tell me where to go.
Reply:Yes.
Reply:Dunno.......when%26#039;d He say we had to be back?
Reply:Thats too long for me to read right now. Ill finish it when I get back from my Black Mass. I%26#039;m already late. I dont want to miss the sacrifice like last time. And I just know I%26#039;m gonna be the one who gets stuck cleaning up all the blood again.

By the way, your picture gives me nightmares. Please change it.
Reply:No, give me 10 more minutes, Law and Order is almost over.
Reply:Ur god allows children to die in horrific pain, caused by pedophiles getting their kicks? That will happen regardless of people returning to a god that might not even exist. The bible was only mens version of what happened. it could be biased and they could have been on drugs.
Reply:Do you mean return as in go home to be with God, or do you mean return as in go back to doing things God%26#039;s way? The poetry was nice but irrelevant - this isn%26#039;t a blog.

What%26#039;s your real question?
Reply:I think what you meant about being backsliddened and you returned to Jesus by repented and follow Him. if so, its wonderful!
Reply:You say %26quot;I have returned to the God of my childhood, To the same simple faith as a child I once knew%26quot;

The Bible says:

%26quot;When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.%26quot; 1 Corinthians 13:11
Reply:No.
