What direction (North, South, East, or West) is best to plant Lilies of the Valley in?

I live in Indiana and my house faces South.

%26quot;Lilies of the Valley are easy to grow under most conditions, though they do best in partial shade. Once they are well rooted they will spread indefinitely by means of the underground rhizomes. They are an excellent ground cover that lasts until frost sets in. Once they are well extablished, they will form large clumps that need almost no care and live for many years.%26quot;

I would plant them on the south facing side (the front of your house) and make sure they are in an area by which you walk regularly so you can fully enjoy not just the sight of them, but the lovely scent as well!

Reply:East and North. They don%26#039;t like full sun all day, and the west side gets too hot in the summer.
